Failed IVF can be due to the following reasons:
-Thin or unhealthy endometrium/ inner lining of the womb
- Suboptimal embryo development which could be related egg/ sperm health
- intrauterine adhesions
- polyp or fibroid in the uterine cavity
- severe adenomyosis
- hydrosalpinx ( fluid collection in the fallopian tubes)
- Physical/mental/ emotional stress can contribute
- increased DFI(DNA fragmentation index) has been implicated
- Poor ovarian reserve or egg quality can be a factor
